Emma & Scott's Welsh Manor Wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall

“From the day I found you on Instagram I've pretty much been obsessed with your pictures and of course our expectations have been more than met with our own wedding pictures! It was also such a pleasure having you there, you are so lovely =)”

- Emma & Scott

I’d been so excited in the run up to Emma & Scott’s big day. Firstly, because I couldn’t wait to get back to the beautiful Tyn Dwr Hall & secondly, because Emma & Scott are AWESOME and I couldn’t wait to see them both tie the knot!

As Emma walked down the aisle looking a million dollars, Scott was completely overcome with emotion. He did the best groom-cry I’ve seen in ages & made my job very difficult shooting through blurry eyes!

Emma & Scott, thank-you so much for asking me to be a part of your special day. You guys were just as fun & laid back as I knew you would be and it really was a pleasure to be involved. Hope you had an amazing honeymoon & hopefully this gallery will ease some of the holiday blues <3

P.S. A massive thanks to Ayesha for being a fabulous 2nd Shooter!

Sam & Keyvan's Tipi Lake District Wedding by the River

Outdoor Tipi wedding in the Lake District

Keyvan & Sam got ready together in The Boathouse in Pooley Bridge - a beautiful little building with its own jetty & balcony overlooking the lake. It couldn’t have been a more stunning location & the perfect way to start off their wedding day. After the pair were suited and booted we headed out on the jetty for some pre-ceremony portraits and to make the most of the idyllic Lake District setting.

We then set off into the village where the tipis had been set up, tucked away in a little field right next to the river. Keyvan & Sam said their I do’s under a tipi surrounded by their friends and family. They chose to do the speeches through the ceremony which worked perfectly and meant more time later on for eating, drinking & dancing!

The pair planned their wedding day by prioritising what was important to them and ditching the traditions that weren’t. They had a DIY help-yourself bar & the best dim sum street food for their wedding breakfast (seriously, the best.) They didn’t want to do a first dance but the DJ kicked off at 5pm and the dancefloor was jam packed all evening! It was the perfect day & it was exactly what they wanted.

Sam & Keyvan, thanks so much for asking me to be your photographer! I hope you’re having an amazing honeymoon & enjoy looking through these photos whilst you’re away <3

Aimee & Dan's Intimate Elopement at St George’s Hall in Liverpool

A St Georges Hall Elopement in Liverpool

When Aimee got in touch to ask if I was available for her and Dan’s elopement in Liverpool, I nearly bit her hand off! Although I’ve done a lot of intimate weddings with only a handful of guests, I’ve never photographed one where there were no guests at all and it’s been a bucket list experience for me for ages!

Even more exciting was that Aimee & Dan asked me to be an official witness for them too, which was an honour I’ll never forget!

I left my house at silly o’clock in the morning as I didn’t want to get caught in traffic getting into Liverpool City Centre so early on a Monday morning. After grabbing a giant coffee I wandered over to St George’s Hall to wait for the pair to arrive. The sun was shinning as the light was beautiful, it was the perfect setting for such a lovely day.

Aimee & Dan soon arrived followed by their very talented florist who was doubling as their 2nd official witness! The service was so touching, made all the more special due to the pair only having each other to focus on. After they were announced Husband & Wife, we set out to make use of the amazing light we’d been blessed with!

Aimee & Dan, thank-you so so much for choosing me to be a part of your day. It was such an honour & it’ll stay with me forever <3

North Wales Wedding Photography // Anglesey Engagement Shoot

I’ll forever be grateful to Rachel & Kristian for introducing me to the beautiful Newborough beach in Anglesey! We booked a date in for their pre-shoot months in advance and with the pair travelling up from London, a lot was riding on the weather being on our side.

We got so lucky! Not only was it dry, it was sunny, warm & the beach looked incredible!

Rachel & Kristian, you guys were perfect! Counting down the day’s now till I’m back in Anglesey for your wedding :)

Kelly & Michael's Titanic Hotel Wedding in Liverpool

Titanic Hotel wedding in Liverpool

My favourite moment during Kelly & Michael’s day? It’s absolutely got to be when Kelly’s veil took off whilst I was photographing their portraits! It not only detached itself and blew off... it travelled so high and so far that it was never to be seen again!

I already knew that nothing could knock the smile of their faces but after Kelly burst out laughing as she watched her veil blow off in the wind, it definitely confirmed that they were having the best day ever & no hiccup on the day would ever stop them!

The Titanic Hotel in Liverpool is a super cool, urban venue with a huge reception room lined with festoon lights and vintage posters of the titanic itself. It’s been on my list of bucket list venues for ages and it definitely didn’t disappoint!

Kelly & Michael, thanks so much for asking me to be your photographer. I had so much fun & absolutely loved being a part of your day <3

This is what 2018 looked like!!

2018, WHAT A YEAR!

37 weddings // 8 engagement shoots // 16,951 delivered images

Every year that passes by, I worry how long I’ll love this job for & whether I’ll eventually start to tire from the craziness that wedding season brings.

But each & every year I love it more and more.

I get more of a buzz from traveling up and down the country more times than I can keep track of. I feel more every time I witness two people making the biggest declarations of their lives. I cry more, a lot more.. I try to fight back the happy tears but there’s always something that gets me at each and every wedding.

I shot my 150th wedding this year & I can remember each & every one of them.

I can sit here and think about what I’d do instead of this job but I can’t imagine myself ever giving all of this up.

THIS YEAR HAS BEEN CRAZY GOOD!

Thank-you to each & every one of my beautiful clients, who have made it my best year yet!

Katie & David's Rustic North Wales Wedding at Llanrhaeadr Springs

Llanrhaeadr Springs Wedding in North Wales

Katie & Dave chose to the tie the knot at the quaint little church in Llantysilio, North Wales. Katie arrived in style in a tiny vintage wedding car, adorned with flowers & driven by her father. She looked absolutely amazing with a huge smile, red lipstick & beautiful rustic bouquet.

After the intimate service came to an end and the pair were declared Husband & Wife, it was time to head over to the North Wales wedding venue, Llanrhaeadr Springs to carry on the celebrations. The newly wed’s headed over in the vintage car as I followed behind so we could pull over in a lay by en route and make the most of the beautiful Welsh scenery.

Katie & David, thanks so much for asking me to be a part of your day! I hope you love your preview.. can’t wait to show you ALL the rest <3
