“You were the perfect photographer, not only on the long run up to the day (2 years of you patiently answering all of my queries!) but on the day itself, nothing was too much trouble, you were calm, collected, and so kind- everything a bride needs on her special day. We cannot thank you enough, we have the most wonderful collection of photographs that we will cherish forever.”

- Kirsty & Andrew

Kirsty & Andrew chose to have their beautiful, beautiful day at Stubton Hall in Newark, Nottinghamshire. After a week or so of colder weather, the sun was out again in full force for their special day & the hall looked all the more grand against a backdrop of blue sky.

Kirsty & Andrew, thanks so so much for asking me to be a part of your day, I had SO much fun with you both.. really hope you love your preview & can't wait to show you the rest too! <3

And last but not least, huge thank-you to my amazing 2nd shooter, Olivia x

Natalie & Chris's Duttonfest Wedding at Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire

Nunsmere Hall wedding in Cheshire

Natalie & Chris got married at the beautiful Cheshire wedding venue, Nunsmere Hall. The day went off without a hitch & the pair were soon declared Husband & Wife. After the happy couple had been toasted enough times to finish off every drop of champagne, it was back into the gardens so the wedding breakfast room could be turned round ready for the evenings festivities.

Natalie wanted to surprise Chris by turning their evening reception into their very own wedding festival, completed with awesome music, glitter beards, wristbands & lanyards. Chris was absolutely blown away when Natalie lead him into their reception to reveal Duttonfest!

Natalie & Chris, I hope you have an amazing time at Festival Number 6.. your first festival as Mr & Mrs <3

DIY Farm Wedding Photography // Cheshire Wedding Photographer

This is what you get what you cross a working Cheshire farm with an incredibly talented florist, who just so happens to be the bride herself! I was only with Anna & Dave a short but sweet four hours but I loved every second of it. Their day was filled to the brim with personality & made all the more special by having their reception at Anna's mums farm!

I knew the flowers were going to be amazing after Anna sent me a link to her Instagram but I couldn't imagine just how amazing each and every detail would be. You can follow Anna's beautiful work on Instagram here: AnnaFlora

Anna & Dave, you should be so proud of what you achieved! I hope you love your preview <3

Marcus & Emily's Colourful London Wedding at Gaynes Park, Epping

Gaynes Park Wedding in Epping, London

“Jess OMG we love them! We are so so so happy, thank you so much, you are the best!”

- Emily & Marcus

Right from the off, Emily & Marcus's day sounded perfect. They wanted a super relaxed day filled with colour that combined both British & Nigerian traditions. Plus they'd booked the absolutely beautiful barn wedding venue, Gaynes Park for their reception. Amazing!

I started the day over at Emily's parents house, where her and EIGHT bridesmaids were getting ready. There was a great buzz around the house as everyone pitched in helping each other prepare & a one or two tear-jerking moments with thanks to Emily's Dad! Once everyone was dolled up in their wedding gear, it was off to the church in the most appropriate London wedding cars ever.

After a touching ceremony the pair were declared husband and wife and exited the church being showered with confetti & congratulations from their nearest and dearest. Next stop was Gaynes Park in Epping, a beautiful barn venue surrounded by corn fields.  After all the food had been eaten & the new couple had been toasted, it was time for a knees-up, Nigerian style. Emily & Marcus were led into their evening reception by African drummers & guests took delight in showering the pair with dollar bills.

Emily & Marcus, hope you had an amazing time in Croatia! Can't wait to show you your full set of photographs, there's A LOT more to come! xx

P.S. - a huge thanks to my 2nd shooter, Helen!

Lucy & Roland's Botanical Wedding at Buxton Pavilion Gardens

Buxton Pavilion Garden's Wedding in Derbyshire

Lucy & Roland chose to tie the knot at the unique & quirky Derbyshire wedding venue, Buxton Pavilion Gardens.

After a morning of preparations at a nearby hotel, Lucy & her maids walked down the street to the Gardens, where Roland and their guests eagerly awaited their arrival. After an intimate ceremony in the band stand the pair were declared husband and wife & it was time to be smothered in hugs and kisses by their friends & family. The rest of the day continued with more celebrations, a showering of confetti & enough sandwiches and scones to feed an army.

Buxton Pavilion Gardens is perfect for those who don't want to get married in a typical 'wedding venue'. The gardens are stunning & the Victorian greenhouses make for a super unique champagne reception space & wet weather alternative to the band stand ceremony. You then have the convenience of an entire park for your photographs & a little blue train to drive you round and preserve your heels!

Lucy & Roland, I really hope you love your preview & can't wait to show you the rest :)

Kate & Tim's Beautiful Boho Wedding at Stonyford Cottage Gardens

Stonyford Cottage Gardens Wedding in Chester, Cheshire

Kate & Tim's wedding had ALL my favourite things. A beautiful bride in a beautiful beaded boho frock, a 'help yourself scone station' which should be made compulsory at all weddings, an emotional father of the bride (sorry Fred!) & an outdoor ceremony with an abundance of happy tears & belly laughs.

& that's not even mentioning the Land Rover wedding car, boho tipi reception & abundance of confetti... I could go on (& on!)

Kate & Tim, thank-you so so much for asking me to be a part of your AMAZING day. You should be so proud of yourselves for planning such a bloody good shindig!

And a huuuuuge thank-you to my amazing 2nd shooter, Leah for all your help on the day <3

Pink Hair & a Floral Dress for Becky & Jason's Walled Garden Wedding

An Sugnall Walled Garden wedding in Staffordshire

Becky&JasonPRE11.jpg

I knew Becky & Jason's wedding was going to be an amazing day when they rocked up to their pre-shoot in the Peak District like this -->

& ohhh yes it was!

The pair actually tied the knot a little while ago but wanted to have a blessing to celebrate their marriage in front of the friends and family who couldn't make it the first time round.

Despite a couple of torrential downpours throughout the day, after everyone had their fill of afternoon tea, we were finally blessed with blue skies and sunshine. The rain actually ended up helping us out a little too, when a double rainbow appeared over the gardens. To top off an already perfect day, the late sunshine developed into that beautiful golden light that everyone dreams for & provided us with an epic photo opportunity to end on a high!

Words cannot describe how good Becky looked, with her flower crown, pink hair and floral printed dress. She threw out the traditional stereotypes of what a 'bride' should be and looked all the more incredible for it!

Becky & Jason, thank-you so so much for asking me to be a part of your day. I hope you're having an amazing honeymoon in Sri Lanka!

And last but not least, a huge thanks to my amazing friend & 2nd shooter, Helen Smiddy <3

Vicky & Nick's Colourful Combermere Abbey Wedding in Shropshire

Combermere Abbey Wedding in Cheshire

Vicky & Nick's big day ticked all the 'perfect wedding' boxes. Filled to the brim with colour & covered in garden grown wild flowers, handmade origami cranes & beautifully hand-painted chalk boards. It was DIY wedding heaven & the hard work that both Vicky & Nick had put in shined through & made it all the more special.

Vicky looked absolutely incredible with her stunning dress & infectious smile. No one could blame Nick when his eyes filled up as he watched Vicky walking down the aisle towards him.

I hope you love your preview guys, I can't wait to show you your full set.. there's soo many more to come <3

Becky & Rich's Tower Hill Barns wedding in North Wales

Becky & Rich, Tower Hill Barns Wedding Photography

Becky & Rich decided to ditch the traditions and just have a bloody good day, exactly how they wanted it.

There were no formal photographs, no cake cutting, no first dance. But there were not one, but FIVE Cocker Spaniels, a giant tv screen playing the England World Cup match & an outdoor rave to the amazing gospel singers from Sing Out Music. Any wedding featuring a dog is a success in my eyes, so you can't imagine how excited I was when I saw five of them (all sporting bow ties) running towards Becky.

It was so so great to be back at Tower Hill Barns again for my seventh wedding at the gorgeous venue too! I swear it just keeps getting better there! It's the perfect venue for a chilled out knees up with great food and a great atmosphere.

Becky & Rich, I hope you love your preview... can't wait to show you the rest <3
