Sam & Eve’s Intimate Chester Wedding at the Town Hall

I was so excited when Sam & Eve got in touch with me & I heard about their plans for the first time - they were planning their day EXACTLY how they wanted it to be instead of following age old traditions that didn’t feel like a good fit for them.
The Day Itself…
I met Sam & Eve at the Grosvenor Hotel where they’d started their day together. Eve looked absolutely stunning in an elegant silk dress by Whistles (check out their bridal range if you’re looking for something different to a traditional wedding dress!) … And Sam scrubbed up pretty well too!
We then spent the next 30 minutes or so wandering round Chester City Centre. Heading to all their favourite spots to capture their wedding portraits. If you’re planning an untraditional wedding or starting your celebrations later in the day, this is the perfect way to not feel rushed during your photos ¬ having to miss any of your drinks reception!
Next stop: the iconic Chester Town Hall! It was so good to be back after it had closed for refurb a couple of years ago. It’s such a stunning building and really feels like the heart of Chester. Sam & Eve walked down the aisle together, hand in hand - something that was important to them!
After plenty of hand picked fizz (well researched by Sam) it was on to Chez Jules. A favourite spot of Sam & Eve’s, for their intimate dinner party wedding reception. The candlelit atmosphere set the perfect mood for a night of laughter, heartfelt toasts, and delicious food.
